Need help on this EKI Spange.

So I got this with a couple of other items and I'm not versed on how to tell if an EKI spange or Ek II spange is real for that matter. Is this EK I spange authentic? Also, where is a good place to get information on how to tell if it's real or fake? Any good books or whatnot? Thanks for all of your help guys.

The best book on EKI spanges is the "The Iron Cross 1 Class" by Maerz and Stimson. There are no English published books on the EKII, although I believe there is a German book. Jim
