P.S.: Peter, where did you got these pics from? E-Bay?

I have picked them up here and there. Mostly from Ebay. One cross used to be in my own collection.

        Cheers.

          fake RKs

Can this fake RK be bought somewhere for a price of a repro, or are they being sold only as "orginals"? I'm looking for a good repro of the RK and this latvian RK seems like a good idea for a reasonable price ( I hope)...

          regards,
          Mark

              Peter,

You can add the DKiS that Simon posted. It's straight out of Latvia, as is the DKiG you posted earlier.

These have been coming out for a few years and some have inscriptions on the back. Easily recognizable, they are all identical on the obverse and the two variations I have seen on the reverse are set ups for Zimmerman and Godet. I saw one of these suckers go for over $800 USD about 4 years ago.

I like these better than many originals. They're beautifully done; but too perfect due to the laser cutting. All that's lacking is good frosting. Good job Peter.

Here's another Latvia fake of a Godet.

Initially they were all sold by a Latvian maker clearly marked as reproductions on eBay. I know it as a fact as I bought his DK and KC directly from him (still have it). The maker/seller is a very nice and honest person.

I got burned on this one when I was collecting relics... the anti-rotation spike came off when I unwrapped it... boo:
