Iron Cross, Spange Values for Insurance Claim

Hi, I'd like to get some idea of the values of the following Iron Crosses and Spangen. No, I'm not thinking of selling them on the eStand (I wish!), rather they were all destroyed when the Valley Fire consumed my house and most of my belongings almost exactly a year ago. I need to know the current values so I can file a claim with my insurance company. Some of the values I've been able to document by visiting dealer web sites but some of the crosses are scarce so I'm not finding them offered. Any help on value estimates would be much appreciated! Hi George,

I'm really sorry to hear what happend to you. Just the other day I was looking at your Sauermann group.

You could also look at past auctions besides dealers or maybe 1 or 2 dealers you bought from in the past may be helpfull.

For insureance your own pricelist added with Streptile's prices may give you and the insureance company an estimation, just wonder if that will be enough for them to also pay you. They may need a "professional" to confirm those estimations.

If you could link current prices to Niemann's catalog and show that prices have doubled or trippled that could maybe also work for those pieces you don't find currently for sale.

George I wish you all the best and hope that the insureance company pays you a fair amount!

The Sauermann group was rescued from the house before the fire hit!
Thanks for your recommendations. I've already screensaved some values from dealers' sites, but I'd love to see the scans from the Niemann catalog. You can send them to me at gstimson4@gmail.com
So far the insurance company has been fair. They're not too familiar with militaria, but "collectibles" are covered under the policy and the adjuster has assured me that I'll be compensated. It's been quite a daunting job to list everything that's gone, but I've been working at it.
