Nice original with some light corrosion!

        Looks OK to me, too.

I'm not a fan of this one- the wreath at the very least has been replaced with a modern example.
I don't like the embroidery of the black thread in the swaz or the texture of the ground behind it. I think this may be an improved fake where they have corrected the stitching of the starburst.

            Piotr:

I matched your 'German Cross' to mine & I STILL
find yours to be an "original" & most likely produced
by the maker "Juncker" I believe it is that doesn't have
the "buggered-up date on their wreaths.

Your swastika embroidering does run in the same
pattern as other 'German Crosses'. The white emb-
roidered background is the proper weave & material
            used on other 'German Crosses'.

I "turned" your photo for you so we could see it clearer
with the date at the base where it should be displayed
& easier to notice details easier.

I believe yours is one of the 'earlier' ones of the war.

            Ron.

The maker of this original cloth version is not Juncker but Hermann Schmuck & Cie (Weißenburg). It is a Type 1 with a Juncker-style wreath (early, since the 9 o'clock flaw seems to be barely visible) which they all have.

I would like to see better photos of the wreath before rendering an opinion on this one. Perhaps it's the photography, but the details look 'soft' to me.

The SH stamp on the reverse also looks odd to me.

Again, better photos would be helpful.

I enclose a few better photos. The photos of wreath might not be the best ones. It looks like it is much more shiny than in reality. I suppose that someone tried to clean it. In its deeper parts it is noticebly darker - patinated (photo 3).
