Gentlemen. Prior to listing this amazing Knights Cross Group on estand, provenanced by the family and attributed to Oberleutnant Artur Tiefensee, I wonder if anyone can positively accredit the identity disc to the man?
Accompanied by a witnessed letter of authenticy from his son, it is very interesting to note that the Knight Cross itself is fitted with a single elastic strap to allow wear by this one armed officer.
Without a name, can we determine if the identity disc was in fact his? Any further information would be very much appreciated, the Knights Cross itself having been previously discussed here:
