I just added this cross to my collection. Do we know if these were period awards or could be bought after the Spanish campaign? Same question applies to the CEJ 900 pieces.

I tend to think that both were awarded during the ceremonies (31 may, 3 & 4 June 1939). the LDO were private purchase ! this is just a supposition, I've no proof of it !

Hello Gentlemen,
Actually, Jacques has paid for and placed an order for exactly such a Meybauer Spanish Cross from me. Jacques has been such a patient gentleman. I sent this badge with US Registered Mail back in November 19, 2004!!! He has still not received his badge. I have started an investigation with the postal authorities. Naturally, we are both very frustrated by the lack of information coming from the postal authorities.
I am still hopefull that this void in Jacques excellent collection will soon be filled.
