Thats a hard question to answer. They certaintly produced RK's very shortly after the war till alround the 1970-80s. They are out of business for a long time and there is a certain story that all there dies where sold of to a eastern-european company.
Then there is the Sedladzek Knights cross, which uses the Souval frame but a different core which might be a pre LDO cross.
Certaintly still a lot of questions are still not answered on the topid of Rudolf Souval. A member here Alex W might have more information !

Souvals
Hi guys
There are lots of threads available on identifying Souval RKs , many originate from the 57 forum, there's a lot of guys like Alex who collect Souvals. I myself own an early one silver frame with Oakleaves and diamonds.
The quickest way to spot a Souval RK from other copies is-
A. The 9 on the 1939 sits lower, than the othe numerals.
B. Unlike war produced RKs , the swastika sits lower than the beading, originals like Junker etc, the swaz is level!
There are beading flaws too that identify them,
Regards
Gary

As an aside, isn't a "dipping ring" also an indicator of a Souval KC?

Chris and Gary have already mentioned some good points about Souval's post war RK production.
Indeed the Souval firm started to produce RK's in the later 1940's.
Here attached is such a RK....... This RK, together with a Grand Cross were brought back by a British vet already in the late 1940's.
These very early post war crosses feature a non -magnetic (Zink) core. All of these early pieces I´ve handled were unmarked. Besides the lack of frame flaws it has a finishing grade which is typical for early post war made items. Still a very nice frosting on the frame, etc. Also, note the non-dipping ring on the frame.
Regards,
Alex
