      Got it, thanks. , I thought you were referring to my pictures

      Meriksson, I like your picture, I think mine is the same maker as yours ie L/15

      Its even got the same '9' (of the '39) pushed into the frame.

        So does everyone think its still ok?

        I had a close look yesterday, and, forgive my ignorance but it appears that the core had been painted (or REpainted) after assembly with the frame.

        You will notice on the areas where the core meets the frame how the paint has splashed up onto the silver itself...

        The could have been a "Jm Felde" job and is certainly rough, it could be a late war replacement...any comments or is it something worse (fake?)

          The EK is OK. And yes it look´s like a repaint. It can take the value a bit down, but it´s nice one.
