    russian made ek1 dated 1941 ???

hi guys, while trying to get over the flu i have been loafing on the forum here and on evilbay. i ran across this and wanted to throw it out to the experts...

was/is there such an ek1 made by the russians to be left on the persons of dead german soldiers? just curious!

the bidders seem to think it's nifty... at $2000.00 +

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

interesting article and piece. I have one as well, appears to have been modified from an EK 1. Long siege at Leningrad and the Russian folks capable of some nasty tricks. Have had mine for some time, interesting addition to a nice EK collection.
