It seems an 83 maker mark (Emil Peukert, from Gablonz a.N.).
If you search the forum, you'll see there are KVK2s and Ost medals from this maker, but no EK2s to compare with...may be Pavel (forum member from Gablonz) could help.Comment

Cross seems to be a Lauer.
So I am guessing on a post war mark.Comment

I'm not sure what Pavel will say, but I have never seen an 83 marked EK2 before. I am not competent enough to tell you about who made the frame and core of the cross posted above, but to my eyes it doesn't look like either of the known Gablonz EK2 makers, W&H and RS&S. I have posted a couple of threads below about Gablonz makers of EKs that may be of help to those of you that specialize in EKs.

The mark on 83 marked KVK is different and certanly not a match for this mark which I belive is anyway a postwar made mark to increase value. Seen this on other wartime EK.
There are wartime lists of authorized EK makers for both 2nd and 1st class and 83 isn't on them. Some proof would be needed to confirm that they made EK than a fake mark, for example a reciept when they ordered material from the PKZ for ek.

IMO it's original Lauer (=14) with not original big ring.
