    EKII mm24 extra mark?

    Hi!

I recently bought an EKII mm24. When I checked I didn't notice any extra marks, but later on I was not sure about a little hole I found in the ring. I'd love to hear your opinions.

    This is the cross

What do you guys think? Could it be an extra mark?

Yeep that mark is also on those 24´s. I have 2 that have this mark. From what i now know there is extra marks like this, that one you show dont know what to call it? The acorn, the klovs and also the WB. They imo is a mark for every supplier to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaketten-hersteller <o ="">></o>> Im still wating to see if there can be more marks from any other not known supplier.

I can only compare whit the "point" and acorn markt and no my ones are not the same. The "point" i have i got as a 077 markt ! But its a point and the half 24 very unclear as most 24 marks is. Its a bit smaller than the acorn size is 44,5*44,6 and its also not so thick as the acorn. I will try to get a pic off it later and show you.

Mikael thank you for your input. I love this crosses maybe because you don't know what you are going to find if you look well and ask in this forum

On the other hand my 24s seem to have a flaw in the bottom right rim but I cannot assure this, since my magnifier lens is not specially good.

              regards,
              David

Oh, I see. The mark you call a "point" I call an "o".

Ok there was the name for it "o" . What about the size on ur "o" George same as my one? I ask as i can see some diff in making off the acorn and this "o".

This one is not an "o". It is a little point which was made with a sharpen tool, not with an o-shape tool. That's why I was doubtful, but it would be quite a coincidence to make such a mark accidentally right?

Mikael, nice crosses I'll post some pictures of my 24s tomorrow.
