I bought my 1939 'Grand Cross' at the Rochester Dome
around 1985 & when I got back home I telephoned down
to 'Jack' Angolia & told him about my find & he said it was
most likely one of the "jeweler" copies that were displayed
in some of the shop windows in Germany.
It was in beautiful condition & marked. I don't remember
if there was a maker mark but there was a Silver content
stamp that was either "800" or "835". I believe I paid out
$400.00 for it.
