New W&L EK2

Hi all,
Rescued this lovely unmarked Wächtler & Lange EK2 from an antique fair this morning,it was hanging off a gaudy finger ring holder shaped like a hand The stall holder wanted a 100 quid for it!! ,I got him down to £41

I was looking at a Wachtler and lange EK2 and noticed some flaws in the date on the "1813". Does anyone else see these flaws and this characteristic of this maker, or is this an "odd" date?

Are you sure that is a Wachtler and lange 100?
Look at the upper outer corner of the "3". It is cut on the one above and on the ones i have. Is it on yours?

No I am not sure. It has "100" on the ring, but I do not know crap about EK2s. I can photograph the beading better as well.

1939- is this the cut to which you are referring? If so, it seems to have it here, but not on the reverse

Hello Gents,

my W&L has a common 3 with no chamfered edge.
Ref. Toms EK: Stamp and date looks good to me. I have no doubts with it.

@Tom: my one does not have the die flaws.
