    Spanish Cross in Gold

A question to the experts for Spanish Crosses .

What kind of opinions are there over the following piece?
How often are Spanish Crosses with the marker L/52 ?

    Best regards

    Michael

If I was not a gentleman I would tell you this is a blatant fake so you would return it where you got it from.
You bought this 30 minutes before I wanted to get it and I can only congratulate you on this item. A very desirable maker and I e.g. want nothing else but a L/52 in gold! If you ever want to resell it at a profit for you, I am your man!
    Cheers, Frank

      Oh Frank.I am sorry.

But you can be sure it has found a good new home.

I hope you find a similar piece soon.

      Best regards

      Michael

Of course I will say to you if I should sell it.

Come on, Michael, show the guys the obverse of this beauty! I am sure many currently doubt it because it is so beautiful and stone cold mint. You could not have found a better example, I am truely envious!

...and when I first saw the back, I said it must have had the finish reapplied recently because it's just too good to be true. WOW! Is that nice!!

I guess it's just me but the reverse looks cast, especially noticeable on the grips. The reverse of the hilts show they are not symmetrical with each other, and look at the sword tips too. And I don't like that pin either. . .

I intended also this is too good to be true.

I have never either seen such a piece before.

But I have great confidence in the seller.

I don't have any doubts about the genuineness of the cross.

Is anybody of a different opinion?

                    Best regards

I just awake up and see that cross. Where did you find it ? I didn't saw it ?

All the details look like what I know about these maker (pin, hinge, eagles head, grisps). Concerning the gold wash, as it's mint, I should have to hand it, but it looks pretty good ! One in the same condition was to sell in Germany by a dealer, but it was over priced.
could you send me privatly hight quality detailed pics ?

                        Damn!

That is what I need! I am guessing it came with a case being so mint. Can we see pics please?

                        Best, Sal

Jacques, You probably didn't see it because you were blinded by the glare from all your beautiful SC's!
