Don't like the Iron Cross

Saw this in the estand , I don't like the Iron cross 2nd class how the 39 jump up with the date numbering...maybe someone notices some other things?

A common feature one finds on cores of many makers .
Mostly found on early made cores .... here a few examples :

Fritz Zimmermann ...... a classic example of having both core types .
