How do you suppose..? Was catch of this EK period replaced, or is it current repair..? You have said, that it has seen better times. I can say, definitely YES, it has. But I would say also that its condition is not bad despite of this repair.

Franki is right this the piece good original W&L but the hook was replaced catch .

Some collectors like the worn look . Quit hard to say when that catch was repaired .
