    That's a very rare cross but honestly I don't think the maker is known.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

        ... I still believe that this is F.Linden's cross, because the quality of performance is neither an crosses Assmann's or S&H ...unless it's someone completely outside of these three makers

            This is an early type of crosses, so-called the Schinkel form. But in the lists of the manufacturers of crosses of the 2nd class on 01 December 1939 there are no manufacturers such as Linden, Assmann. How can this be explained?

              It is a pity that photos deleted! Is it possible to recover?

                  On the basis of what You think that ?
                  Perhaps in the years 1940-1941 this cross was not considered to be "early" ...

                    But in 1940, the year was approved by the St&L crosses and release crosses of unapproved standard was prohibited. Or am I mistaken?

                    "early" = before 09 July 1940

                        Sorry Kirill, You do not understand me...

                        How do you know that it's cross early or not, whether it is cross approved or not ... because I do not know it 100% ... this is all speculation and "suspicions", but you think that you know a lot and want to know more...

                        In such cases, I know that I know a little, and I believe that with what I suspect something is true.
                        That's all

                          Jarek I appreciated your philosophical approach!
                          But in this case there are facts which cannot be ignored. I have shown the cross, perhaps made by a Linden, does not meet the standard St&L, and therefore an early type. Company Linden is not in the list of manufacturers of the iron cross second class ( 01 December 1939). If the company Linden produced the iron cross, then unofficially. (IMO) Is it possible? Questions remain without answers &&&

                              Assmann is on the list. But it is in the list of 1940. That is, his cross could only be a formal standard (St&L). So this is the cross of Assmann could not be an official award in the 3rd Reich.

                              So who and what made these crosses? It remains only to philosophize?
