I don't know what it is, but Souval Pinback and frame look close to Schickle, but the core is very strange. Overall I think it is a Frankenstein. A cross which was build out of different parts.

Sounds like he is trying to pull a fast one on you. Was this actual cross listed on their website?

                      3 cheers for Stefan

He spotted it or eluded to first and had me looking at the cross again .
The frame is made by Otto Schickle - happens to be up side down !

And the core is nothing new either - a S&L product used in S&L , Rettenmaier and maker 24 crosses .
The rounded tips of the arms on the swastika are easy to pick out .

This identifies the components - not a 107 Carl Wild .

Frankenstein ... one option .... or a strange some thing else ????

Could this been put together like that originally war time?

Looking at the side of frame I see no indications of it ever being open and resoldered.

Having all original parts and put together only once is nice ... unfortunately how ever that does not guaranty it is a war time assembled cross .
The odd combination of components would point more to post war assembled .

Did the listing say 107 or show a different EK1 ? If so I would return it .
Has happen to me only once before - my seller denied it at first - but took it back only after showing him pictures I had saved of the actual auction !
Some thing good to do always - just in case .
