For a moment I thought it was going to be the one listed on Jamie Cross's update, but it's not and that one has now sold anyway.

I would be quite happy to read your opinions of the one Jamie Cross (Thirdreichmedals) listed, and now sold. The photos are here. The one I am interested in looks like the same construction, but without small holes and slightly better paintwork.

I don't see anything wrong with it looks original to me.

Well, I don´t say, that I know, but I still strongly doubt the originality whoever sells it. During the 70´s and early 80´s there were quite plenty of them around. Have had some myself. Of course I am willing to change my opinion, if there is any kind of evidence. I don´t have any interest in them. Just a reflection.

Here are some recommended links, these should help:

Just search the threads plenty of information. You can differentiate originals from the fakes.

To be honest I have a real problem with all of these badges. Wartime originals or not, and I think 9 out of 10 are not, they all look like cheap rubbish made from old foil milk bottle tops with no care whatsoever.

Both appear genuine, but the top one is missing the locking loop for the pin .
The one shown by RickC in the first link above is a copy.
                  Regards,

that one came from Jamie Cross right? It's 100% genuine and you grabbed it before I could- congrats- rare as hell and also worth a good deal more than what you paid.

Yup, original, but look repainted in my opinion.

What do you think the going rate is for one of these at the moment

could be repainted but I think more likely vaseline or laquer on the surface. Value around £2k
