Good afternoon gents,
A friend and I were at a local gun show this morning when I spotted an award case for sale. We popped it open and I determined it to be for a KVK2 w/swords. My friend said that he had never heard of this. I told him that I was sure that there were examples so I thought I would bring it to the forum. Unfortunately we couldn't take a picture then and there so I will have to describe it for you. It was made of a cardboard type material. The outside of the box was maroon in color and had the LDO symbol on the lid. Inside the lid was white in color and bore the mark of L/18 in the bottom right corner. The spot for the cross was done in a red flock and well worn from a cross. The worn spots were consistent with a KVK2 w/swords but my friend feared that it was faked. I was hoping that you fellows could help me with your infinite wisdom. Perhaps if you fellows even had pictures of similar cases that you could post for comparison.
Thanking you all in advance,
Greg
