Hi
I would be interested to know, how a post WW2 Souval EK1 pin type differs from one produced in the war.
I have compared this one with the L/58 screwback thread & it has a number of similarities. It appears to have been in the case a long time.
1. the corners are the same
2. the 3 is lower than the other numbers
3. it also suffers from rust
However I have also compared it with the one in the reference section of the members area & only the corners are the same.
The hinge is also different.
Did Souval also produce the case & packaging after the war??
I look forward to finding out more.
Regards
Neil
