DK in Gold - Real? - Maker?

Here is a DKiG. I purposely only like to show at this point the obverse and kindly ask you all for your opinion. Is this a good one and - if yes - what maker could it be. I made my mind up and will stick to it - right or wrong.

Dear Dietrich,

I do not like it. Too much red visible under the wreath, wreath itself is blurry, upper and lower starburst do not compliment each other in a nice way, sometimes more of the silver starburst peeps through, sometimes less. The whole cross just looks a bit misaligned and badly assembled.

Okay, I don't like the date. And the disc behind the swaz looks more white than silver -- but that could be the picture. (Is it marked "7"?)

No George, it's unmarked. Did you compare the date to all makers?

I compared it to my Zimmermanns, Klein, and Godet. I didn't think it matched. (I am still just on my first cup of coffee, though....)

I am not so sure. Is it possible to see more detailed pics of these areas? This appears to have the flaw in the "9" and the little flaw in the top of the first "1" by these pics. But the first "1" is too thin and the circle of the "9" does not look quite broad enough. The details on those other areas of the wreath should tell further. This does have some flaws of a juncker that one would expect, but I cannot see others due to details of the pics. The date is a little odd, but I would not dismiss it outright by any means without some more details of the areas noted. Note the flaw at the top of the wreath as well as the "machining" flaw at the internal base of the wreath at about 11:00.

I would bet, however, that when Dietrich shows the reverse here, there is going to be a suprise, like a rivet count other than five or no thin barreled hinge!

I know nothing about these handsome badges, but I enjoy watching these types of threads as I always learn something new. The suspense is killing me!
