EK 2 with fat frame?

I saw this EK 2 on Detlev's site, and I want to know where I can find more information about EK 2's with fat frames.

i would contact gordon williamson about this larger size ek2.I know they were a larger variant produced by a small amount of firms through out the war.Gordon refers to this type as the "wide flange" version.I have owned one of these for about 5 years ,and when i purchased it it wasnt worth anymore than a 44mm version.but ive noticed when they do appear now they seem to be an extra 30 /40 bucks extra over a standard version.

"Wide Flange" EK 2

Hi John!

Wide framed EK2's go for about 120 Euro's now days. They are quite rare compared to normal EK 2's. I have one that has a wide frame with a "high swastika". The swastika is actually higher than the beaded edge. It is not maker marked.

My second wide frame is a maker "100". This cross also has a high swastika.
