    New EKs

These just in, clockwise from top:

    A court-mounted EK 2, maker mark "13"
    EK 2, maker mark "55"
    EK 1, maker mark "L/56"
A plain ol' unmarked EK 2

How could anybody collect anything else?

The epitome of complex simplicity! Of all of the military decorations available, the Iron Cross is the most beautiful.

I have to concur. My favorite medal, not just of the Third Reich medals but Imperial as well.

          Dear George & all,

I like the orange colour of your single mount. I have one as well and this is what mine looks like, it has a black felt backing cloth:

                Dez,

                Here's the reverse:

And here's another court-mounted EK 2, more similar to Frank's:

                  EK's

A 'happy' looking little gang of medals, and you are right George, any EK is the number 1 to collect, and I'm jealous.(I will have to go and buy a camera or a decent scanner, then learn to post pictures!)

                  Regards

                      Pretty!

The "bunting" effect on the back of George's second is cute.

Made me think - I'm not even that particularly keen on EKs, but the little blighters seem to get in everywhere.....

(Yuk - I've just seen the poor quality of the picture, but you get the idea)

                            Nice!

Great collection, I especially like the non-combatant combination - very rare!
