Hi George,

Yes, the crosses with the solid swas do have a darker colour wash and also a joint in the ring which hasn't been soldered closed.

I believe that both were made by Juncker but really have no idea why there are these differences.

Stan, I took a closer look at the ring and it is soldered close - its just that the joint is slightly off center when viewed from the reverse.
