    EK11 in KC size

I have just purchased, from Detlev Niemann, an 'oversize' EK11 to add to my collection, a reasonably rare piece. Size; W: 47,24 mm H: 50,40 mm Weight 23,92g.
Does anyone know if an EK1 was produced in this size?
    Or know of the maker?

I never heard of an oversized EK1 or of a maker of the oversized EK 2s.
Here's my example (left, with a regular cross) of the latter.

I have a 24 ring marked over sized ek2.This measures approximately 45mm The maker 24 is(and this is one long name)Arbeitsgemeinschaft de hanauer plaketten hersteller(consortium of plaque making firms).Gordon Williamson had one of these on his old sight for sale a while back.He described this as the "wide flange variety".It is a slightly rarer version than the normal 44mm version.I dont know about ek1,s and wether or not a larger version existed, but ek2,s certainly did.Detlev niemann has at the moment a 24 marked over size version which he describes as having the unusual fat frame but normal for this manufacturer.

This is a mirror image of my 24 marked cross.does anyone know an approximate period(late or early war) of manufacture for this type?
              Regards keifer

                EK11

                Thanks to all for replies,
So far, I would guess that '24' seems to be the maker of most oversize EK11's, mine has no maker marks but looks very similar to Frank's example. As for when they were manufactured, I'm guessing, early war, as maybe the 'Shinkel' type had to conform to regulations so did these oversize crosses.

                Regards
