    Ritterkreuz Oakleaves/Eichenlaub

Maybe such a discussion was already opened, but i didn't find anything myself,... so my question is:
What determinates the value of an RK with Oak-leaves or Oak leaves by them self? I have seen several prices for it so I'm a little confused.

I know that if RK is Juncker it is worth more than K&Q and others, but presuming we are talking same RK, but different OL,...

    Thanks for your comments

Hi Erik, I think that awarded sets achieves higher prices, but generally Godet Oaks are more expensive than Juncker, not sure about the 900 L/12 sets which are indeed rarer and said to be the only real Juncker Oaks. I have seen complete sets of RK + Oaks selling for a lot of money, and Godet Oaks alone for 10 - 14K...

Thanks for reply. So it is such an OL as in this pictures. A 900 21 Godet. What value would go for it in a collectors world?

For a good collector to collector price i would say +-12 000€.
Dealers will charge more for a nice example like that.

Well such items mostly come available at expensive dealers so I'd like to get an estimation what a collector to collector would ask for it and naturally,...is there a market for such items if one day you decide to move it on.

Ofcourse there is a market for oakleaves or higher grades of the knight's cross.
All depends on funds. On an expensive dealer site it will be listed for quite some time, maybe even years. After some time maybe that price is reasonable and eventually it will get sold. For a fair collectors price it will be sold in a minute.
Don't buy these higher grades if you want to make a big profit. It's a steady investment but nothing more. Buy them for the honor of owning such an historical
              important piece.
              Just my 2 cents.

I'm not even thinking of profit but of getting back the funds you pay for it when buying from an high end dealer and selling to a collector.

If you keep it for years, yes. If you sell it again after a year, maybe not.
Nobody can look in the future.
Don't buy these things with the intention of selling them soon.

Thanks for your comments. Just another question,...what is the chance to get such an item from a collector?
