    DKIG Denazified with Suprise.

Thought this was of interest, i pressume its been used either in a POW camp or post war by the veteran. Nice to see the extra ray effect on the dish done by hand and of course the cut out crossed swords, all comments welcome folks

If POW i pressume after 1945 as im sure before they would be wearing awards without modification, im wonderng how many denazified DK's are noted being worn during the 50's or are they mainly 57's

Does it look like '4th' scratched on the back with 'V' for victory below?....Bodes

Looks better than the official 57 DKIG and DKIS, doesn't it?

Hi Bodes, im not sure if its ''V'' for victory as it wouldnt fit with it being used post war IMHO, but its a ''V'' without doubt and yes a ''4'' above it, but the letter behind the 4 has me stumped

Well, if it was de-Nazified by the veteran who liberated it, why couldn't the 'V' stand for victory?....The reality is, we will never know for sure, as the person who did it is likely long gone...Bodes
