    Replaced ring?

    Is this EK2 from a known maker? The bumper ring seems to be replaced as it is thicker than usually? No maker markings.

    Many thanks for opinion.

            K&Q - Klein & Quenzer Idar-Oberstein ,but IMO this the cross not K&Q ,but Steinhauer& Lück
            please put up better and sharper pictures if possible

                Yes sir you are of course right. The swastika seems to be a tad larger in a K&Q. Here is a comparison photo with a S&L:



                In my eyes the 1939 sides match. However the 1813 sides do not mach. The better condition S&L has number 3 missing upper corner due a die fault. Was there a die change?

                Sorry about the photos, cannot do better with my samsung J5.
