I think very similar the two pieces
The date not same ,but than known Friedrich Linden pieces made by three parts ,but this the piece made in one piece

They are similar - but nothing more .
Not from the same master die : bead curvature does not match and nor does the bead step .
Looking at the date style it might be a rejected early cross design ( Linden ??) kept for non-award purposes - like album covers ? ... just guessing .

really only similar the pattern ,because the beads number not same, but the corners very similar and i saw already such type date numer too an another EK2 cross
