DKiG - Genuine or modern ?

My friend brought that DKiG although he and I are not specialists in such high class awards (or any to be true ). Maybe someone here could tell us is it original WW2 or just post war/modern repro ? If You need more/detailed photos let me known.

Your friend has an "original" German Cross.

The color is off in the photos but it's a very nice
"scarce" version without the flaw in the date.

Nice, original cloth cross.

Note the purple backing material. Also, the prongs that attach the wreath on this one appear to be round wire. Typically these are found with a flat wire.
