    Cased (unique) EK2

I think this item is interesting, especially with this kind of case. It is said to be given to the relatives of a soldier KIA. I have never seen this kind of case. Would like your learned opinions. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard that that kind of case was reserved for killed soldiers, and it strikes me as a myth.

However, the case is a good one and I've had two. The insert is removable.

Personally I would not buy the story, not at that price

mm55 EKII is not a rare maker and most common.

The core looks like from the manufacturer J.E. Hammer & Söhne, but with the frame I have no certainty (IMO).
