A nice and rare original.
Untouched patina and sharp stamping of maker mark and silver content.
I have seen them with 900 only or in combination with the crest.
I believe this cross was awarded without the swords so your right about them being factory removed.
No issues with the case too.
Considering only 327 awardings, i believe it's fairly priced.
