Hi Sepp,

A very interesting post war Souval made RK. Unlike most post war Souval RK's, this one seems to have no frame flaws. This makes it an early post war product. The earliest post war Souval RK's date back to the late 1940's and feature a non-magnetic core.
Is the core on this cross magnetic ?

According to my friend, this KC was given to his dad by a former Ritterkreuzträger in 1945.

But, it seems it's postwar..

Alex, no idea about the core if magnetic or not. I will ask.

Some collector offered him 3200 Euros for the cross. He's asking if the price is good?

As it is worth about $350 US that's a pretty good price. It is an interesting cross. The stamped numbers seem to have been added after the fact. What numbers can you see on the frame Sepp? I can't make them out from the photos

Thanks for the info Sepp. Here to compare is the unmagnetic core variant dating back to the late 1940's.
