    Autentic spange

    Hi, thanks for the membership!
I try to post some pictures but see that I must attach a link to the pictures "https: // address". does anyone have a clever solution where I can post pictures so they get an https: // address?

    Tose,

Best to become an Associate Member, see link A.Member as this then allows you to post. By using another location to link pictures to they disappear sometimes. Jim

Is there anyone who can confirm / deny this Spange and whether it is authentic who produced it? Thanks in advance

            Hi tose,

            Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately you have a fake Spange. It's known around here as the "Robot Fake."
            Best regards,
            Streptile

Ok, my suspicions were correct then.

                  Welcome to the Forum Tose!

This has already proven to be a very well invested $25.00!

I agree with the other members. Not sure if your spange is full size (30mm) or a prinzen (25mm) version like the one I bought some years ago but it is indeed a fake/repro known as the "Robot fake"

Luckily I was able to return it to the dealer for a refund but I attached pictures from my files for you to compare. Note the same design and typical uneven & pointed chest feathers that look like roof tiles. I cant tell from your pictures but the back on mine also featured 4 extra long and thick clips that were very difficult to bend and the maker mark "0" which never existed!

Hope you can return it for a refund

                  Regards

                  JC

Thanks, fortunately it was not that big loss but larger lesson. Agree, well invested $ 25. Good thing there are people like you out there who have real expert at such things
