    EKII Packet

    Fellow members,

Take a look at this at a paltry $US82 (plus postage)...

Looks like the 'kraft' paper packet has changed its colour.

    Regards ...

I agree with you HW and Karl,

Here's a pic of the designation of the infamous 'blue' version, looks like they match. I wonder if these tan ones have the main seam fold on the same side as these 'blue' versions.

Perhaps the seller should be informed, he's normaly got some very nice items....and it's not hard to fall foul of the numerous fakes. (I have in the past ...just a bit )

Paper, ink all modern..they have been (examples) 'date' tested via a proffessional mean's. They were conclusively found to be that of a post war composite.

          I had this research conducted.

I did recive a packet like that this week from a bigg fake seller in Germany. I did get it only for a L/11 EK2 that did come whit it. I did black light test it and it shines very nice.

About those blue, they can change in collor i have some maker markt ones that is partly a more grey tone. What that happen to them i dont know, it can be age or sunlight and maybe bad storage.
