    138 Mm Ek2

One of 4 recent arrivals. Parade mounted, a first for me.
Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

    Hmm...
The ribbon on that one is wrong. Not a EK ribbon.

    Cheers.

Ribbon comes from a War Merit Cross.

That might explain the poor job of mounting.....I'm comfortable with the cross itself though.

Oh well, a real Parade mounted EK 2 will be in my future.

Looks good to me but the above are right the Ribbon is KVK. If I were you I'd go Out and buy a KVK with or without swords and put it on that ribbon bar. I know many around here would shoot me for saying that but it Just isn't right on that ribbon. Then get yourself an EK2 Ribbon and Voila!

That is what I would do. And KVK's can be found relatively inexpensive.

Hi nice EK can you show the maker mark in a close up?.
And i think you can find a dealer that is a sponsor to this site that have some very nice and orginal EK ribbons never used. He have a add in for sale section off awards and badges.

Will try to get a good close up of this (and the L/11 mark on the other EK 2) tomorrow. Changing work shifts in the middle of the week sucks....
