    1957 KC scarcity

Another question for the forum. I read that there are new rules concerning the distribution of 1957 awards....is this true or just a good sales tactic?

I am STILL looking for a HQ 1957 Knight's Cross. Just want to know if I have once again missed the boat...once due to youth (when the real stuff was cheap I was to young and/or stupid to realize it)

    Cheers

    Hi Brien,

Kind of in answer to your other question, a 57 RK is a nice filler, and it's REAL!

Thomas Huss has a nice 57 RK on his site.

What do you mean by HQ??

I read it on the website of Mr. Morigi. Truth or scare?

The part of Nick Morigi's website which mentions in passing the tighter restrictions on 1957 pattern awards can be found on the section which deals with Federal German Awards. Only the RK is listed:

                http://www.regaliaspecialist.co.uk/index.php?cat=Main

Personally I would tend to think this is a bit of a sales pitch?

                Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade for putting my focus on this one

The 1957 cross on offer is not a legit one. Call it a 1957 repro if you like.

                  Cheers.

is it? Since I saw that HQ I pushed the search boton and you may gave me the answer about it. What does HQ stand for? Please someone.
(I thought it could be something like S&L but now I wonder if that means High Quality?)

                      Thanks
