Yeah, it's real. It is the Spanish produced medal for participation in---the war in Russia(?).
Someone will confirm or correct me. But it is real.

is the original issue 1944 version. These were made for a long time after the war, right up until Franco's death in the 70's.

I'm guessing that the subject piece is a later type.

The reverse ..
