War Merit Cross & Ost Front Medalbar

This arrived today, War Merit Cross w/o Swords and Ost Front Medalbar. Took a chance on it, looked good on-line. Ribbon and Medals in nice condition. Awards loops are secured inside ribbon and cannot see any makers marks. Rear is without it's cloth backing. Pin and Catch appeared to be wartime.

Would like to hear from more knowledgeable collectors.

Hi MvM both medals look fine to me, however i can see no evidence that a backing cloth existed, no stitch marks in the ribbons etc?. Could well be wrong but im a little dubious that these have not been put together. The way the ribbons are being held does not look professional. Just my thoughts, other forum members may think different. All the best.

I do believe it's a wartime medalbar, the construction is consistant with other medalbar I've seen and with ones I have in my collection. But I'm far from an expert!
Looking for more opinions please!
