Is this Grand Cross of the order of the German Eagle original?

I was offered this grand cross of the order of the german eagle and I was sent these pics. I know pics aren't the best ones but maybe are enough for your expert eye to tell me if it's good one or just rubbish. Enamel round the swastika seems it was touched up (botched work though...)

    Thanks!

Better pics would be helpful. But from what I can see it looks good to me.
Eagle orders are the most beautiful badges, I have a few myself.
      Thanks,
      Bob

This is a 6 point, Grand Crosses are 8 point.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.

Ed is correct it is the Star to the 2nd Class not the Grand Class.

It looks to be in poor shape I suggest much better pics of the center and the marking on the pin before you buy.

Meritorious Order of the German Eagle Star

Like anything that is 900 SILVER . IT TARNISHES !!! I have seen the Eagles on these turn BLACK even though they are gold plated. Just take a little Tarnex silver polish and it will look Beautiful again. It will not hurt the badge !!! Tarnish comes and goes with SILVER !!!!!

                  Eagle order star

This is a ORIGINAL 6 pointer STAR !!! The pin is market 900 but can't make out if its a 21 by Godet.
Its a good find and looks like NO damage has been done to the enamel or badge .

VERY NICE BADGE THAT JUST NEEDS CLEANING !!!

A HIGH END PIECE THAT LOOKS LIKE A NEW FIND !!!

Yes, the cross itself WAS gold plated ... I don't believe you're going to get anything like it's original finish back so I would advise extreme caution when cleaning it.

                          Hi.

Is a example of Eagle Order with Star without swords by Godet.

                          1943-1945 period, 2Nd Eagle order maker mark 900 21.

Is 100% original. Clean with care and cleaning of silver products or take it to a qualified jeweller for you clean it properly

This is my example with swords, 1939-1943 period

hi, could you please show or tell where it's marked "21"?
i'm not familiar to this model, only with the one stamped 900 and 21 on the pin.
                              thank you!
