    Odd

I don't know why anyone would match a Deumer Spange to a fake ek I but it sure appears the case here. Very odd.

In this case is very important also the total weight and dimensions.

The core it appears ok but for me, personal opinion, is the hardware behind wrong.

I' m ready to make public exscuses if I saw a wrong piece, but is important for Thomas bring the correct and unquestionable info.

For me all my pieces would be good, and more and more in this case.

        Thanks to everybody

OK, if all the parts are good, this means the spange has had it's hardware taken off and stuck to the EK.
I have seen, and own, combos without any spange attachments which IMO are OK. I can see this happening due to a number of things
What worries me is the mark on the pin. Added for even more value? placing more doubt on the whole deal. Or is it an additional 'jewelers' marking?
Anyone seen it before? do you have closer pics of it?
          any story behind it?
          regards
          jon

I have desided to leave it. There are more questions about this item than answers. Thanks.
            Best regards Thomas.

if the ek is good, it's still a leap of faith on the combo being a wartime conversion…
