The cross is the proper three piece construction but very fine and thin . A quality cross in my opinion .

Your header leads me to think you feel this is a Souval cross. While the core has some characteristics of a Souval the frame does not to my eye. Perhaps others will see it differently.

In my opinion this is a Souval, but with their very late postwar frame and hardware (let's say after 1965, at an educated guess).

And you are no doubt correct.

I was thinking Souval pre May 45 when I made my comment.
