    EK1 for your review

the seller also has a St. Christopher pendant. i couldn't find much about them on the web, how rare are they and what value could one like this have? thank you

That St. Christopher item is known as a "surfer's cross" from the 1960s and is American; here is a link to a Wikipedia entry I wrote about them:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surfer%27s_cross)

Although yours doesn't have a surfer on the back, St. Christopher is the patron saint of surfers.

The ones with a black ocross are worth anywhere between 25 and 50 dollars; red cross ones up to 100...

Believe it or not, I occasionally find genuine Iron Crosses alongside these surfer's crosses, as I recall, a swastika wasn't the verboten big deal in the 60s that it is now.

Also, I have seen these listed on Ebay as 1936 Olympic awards for lifesaving... really dumb..

    Here's mine:

        Hi Andy,

I've been away from the EK scene for some time now but seem to recall there should be a "scrunched" or "skinny" bead on the W&L frames. Perhaps this is a different generation frame???

Can you take another look please and let me know your thoughts in that regard.

        Thanks.

        Regards,
        Stu

            I agree. Could be S&L.

I would lean towards S&L too, has a sharp and good looking core also!
