    K&q?

    Gents,

this is a fresh pickup from this morning at a little flea market along with a nice L14 mothers cross mini. Its really pretty shinny with just the slightest traces of tarnish starting to form. Its unmarked on the ring but my gut thought was a K&Q... any chance you cross guys could confirm it or point me in the direction of a maker and what characteristics make it so.

I do sincerely appreciate the assistance. Matt

        For me it's not K&Q (=65). IMO it's rather W&H (=109)

the frame looks polished to me?
But maybe it is the light that makes that apperence?

This is how this one came in.. I can't account for what may have happened to it before I picked it up but if it was cleaned it still looks damn nice. You can see where there are parts on that frame where the patina is starting to form, which makes me think if it was cleaned it was done a long time ago or it was just well cared for.

Are these frames silver? I really don't know what people would clean it with if its not silver. That all said its still a really nice piece. What makes it appear to be cleaned? Is there something that I can pick up on that will help? Other than the condition? Matt

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I know where it came from and how it was when I got it. I don't see anything patina wise in inner corner frames, near the swastika but again everyone gets to have an opinion.

I do appreciate the help with the identification of the maker, happy hunting gents. Matt
