Question about Straight Arm

I tried to find it but could not find information.
My question:
What is a EK2 so called Straight Arm?
Is there allso a EK1 straight arm?
Has it imperial (1813, 1870, 1914) roots?

"Straight-Arm" is simply a name I gave one particular Unknown Maker 1939 EK2 that has pretty straight arms (click here).

No one has ever seen an EK1 version of this cross that I know of.

I assume when a maker is determined for this cross, the name will fall out of use.
