I am not the sharpest pen in the drawer of KVK,
but the catch looks to be resoldered and the makermark is a match to original S&L marks on EK.

I would say it is an Original KVK1 with resoldered catch.

doesn't need to be resoldered. Remember that it was once covered of a silver wash.
