I would like to get a few opinions on this one. What do you guys feel? I do not like the gold ring as it looks like a poor casting but I would like to hear some other opinions. Thanks for your time!

Of course it is no way original but IMO a very interesting creation as some components of it look just period and it is pretty amazing to me how much efforts went into this poor thing
