My very first guess is postwar S&L with swaz core. The dipping suspension ring/ frame appears so, C frame I think. Others will know more.

I'm far to be an expert, but don't like what I see... Imho it's a postwar piece...

I am by far an expert on Knights Crosses in any way but this really looks like one or two of the post war made ones that I have seen. I am also not a big fan of the ribbon either.

Hi Tony, how much did he pay for it?

He paid about 4000 € for it.

According to a Niemann expertise (real or maybe fake ?) this RK is supposed to habe been sold by Detlev Niemann 4200 € in 2006...

I have a Zimmermann KC from Detlev from the same period which I bought for around £1k with the COA stating possibly post era and showing no 800 mark on the cross only on the suspension ring. I have no issues with it as I knew what it was as it was clearly stated on his webpage and on the COA. I also printed the web pages. If it aS purchased with that pedigree okay, for me if it was sold as something else then that's a different matter!
