Guys,

I have member who says the case is a repo and the cross has had the silver wreath replaced. Need some opinions.

I would think that one would see traces of rivet removal/replacement, or not? And if somebody did it (which is not the case) "they" replaced it with an original silver wreath! There is IMHO nothing wrong with the set, neither cross nor case.

The wreath looks silver painted on my cell phone screen.
I should take a better look on my PC when I am home later today

The DK are orignal and so also the case.

Its a silver wash, not paint, on page 198 of the German Cross, you can see the same thing and read about it too, text book finish, might be my pics, lighting on my part.

Hi

I have had the cross and case in my hands. I cancelled the deal with Realone and returned the cross because I think its a german cross in gold that have been mixed with. You can see the golden color underneath the silver. The wreath has also been silvered. The case looks like is a modern copy that have been aged very well. The material of the case is wrong.

I don't see anything wrong with the cross or the box . Looks like a nice used set
